It has been a very random day…..
Johnny Vaughan is back! I can’t believe I actually miss waking up to his voice.
The first thing that Mike said to me when I stepped into the office was that I seem very very distant. Body is present but mind is far away. So I told him everything that happened. At which point he went to his car and took out Sally’s (so he says) Take That’s CD and played "Patience" to me. And I can’t stop playing that song now.
And how hungry was I during the day?! I had :
A sausage roll (sausage was xxl); A bowl of grapes; 3 pieces of toast with lots of butter (full fat); Chips (lots), Honey Roasted Vegetables and Nut Roast thing; A large Snickers bar.
Which is why I am having soup for dinner. And someone said that I was on pills. Hmmph.
And Richard (partner on the deal I am working on at the moment) promised me a spin in his Aston Martin if the deal is successful. Hurrah! Now if only he can get me a ticket to the Grammies, I will be eternally grateful.
Anda tried to drag me to - check this out - Girl’s football in the evening. I declined and decided to leave the office early and go for a run. Which lasted a very brave 20 minutes. I wouldn’t say run, more like slow walk. Only exercise I got out from that was all the shivering that I did.
So it has been a very random day.
