Vote or Die
Dinner yesterday with Mr. Solicitor Man in London, was as usual controversial and full of "Jo you need to return calls" "Jo you need to reply your emails" and reminded me of an episode of South Park.
Giant Douche or Turd Sandwich.
I have forgotten how political he was.
As usual, I was pressed to attend another UMNO meeting thing, which I refused, again. So that whole conversation about democracy, which has been ongoing since university days came up…..again.
How appaled was he when I haven’t voted in the local elections in May and have never voted back in Malaysia at all.
Yes we are allowed to vote as to who should make the policies that govern our lives. Yes we are allowed to vote the people who will pass laws that regulate our existence.
But what’s the point when the choice you have is between a giant douche and a turd sandwich.
